• Finance
  As a Contractor, you are self employed. You need to use one of the 2 options below to manage your legal contract, do your invoicing and credit control, tax and NI commitments.

PAYE Umbrella Company - Your obligations are as simple as filling in an expense claim form and sending in your time sheets. BITE will manage absolutely everything else for you.


Limited Company - Your own limited co, also known as a PSC or Personal Service Company. You need to obtain the services of an efficient accountant to manage your tax and expenses for you. BITE will manage your legal contract paperwork, provide insurance, credit control, invoicing and all the other general needs you might have to manage your career and finances.


• Correct Visa
  You need to obtain your visa and entry clearance before flying to the UK. Without the correct legal documents, agents and Contractors Service Providers like BITE will not be able to assist you. More info
  
  
• Finding a Contract
  You really should be based here in the UK to enter the UK job market. There is almost no chance that agents will consider you for any opportunities whilst you are still so far away, unable to attend interviews immediately or start work immediately. Agents will restrict their efforts to those with a confirmed arrival date, who have a visa already issued to them, and are definite with their plans and commitments. More info

  2-3 years minimum commercial IT experience is essential. Recently arriving graduates will find themselves up against British graduates and it will be very tough.
